A HEROIC LABOUR
OF LOVE
The project is dedicated exclusively to the grapes grown on the banks of the River Sil. They work with highly respected local growers with complete respect of the land as well as working with their own old vine plots. The soils are granite and slate and due to their position on steep, south/south-west facing slopes, they enjoy an excellent microclimate for wine production.
The precipitous slopes prevent any mechanisation other than a simple system of rails to transport the grapes. Both the harvest and the production are rigorously artisanal, unfailingly faithful to the concept of Heroic Viticulture.
More than three hectares of their own vines grow along the craggy patchwork of vineyards so characteristic of the Ribeira Sacra. The result is a heroic labour of love containing all of the toil, passion and soul needed to create exceptional wines.
