Joan Vendrell is the 5th Generation of the Vendrell family working on organic estate in Penedes. Together with his father Joan Manel they are committed to creating natural sparkling wines, aiming for the maximum expression of local grapes, reflecting their special terroir and maintaining their long tradition in sustainable viticulture.

They carefully hand select the best grapes from the family estate to create high quality living wines with the lowest intervention in the winery. They are restlessly inventive and unafraid
to break boundaries. They are committed to forward thinking and innovation but never forgetting the past with further commitment to recovering indigenous grapes and following historic winemaking techniques.

The limestone soils and low yields of old vines produce incredible wines with character, concentration and elegance. These are wines linked intrinsically to the terroir; spontaneous fermentations, no fining, no filtration and minimal sulphur additions across all wines

The range covers traditional method sparkling wines, ancestral method wines and a still white wine with some exciting new wines currently in the making.
