Growing up in Brazil, Ricardo was exposed to Portuguese wine from an early age where this developed into a passion for promoting the diversity of grapes and terroirs that define Portugal’s wine landscape

The 5.5ha estate is based in the Torres Vedras region of Lisbon and has
been converted to a certified organic estate with some biodynamic practices. Ricardo’s motivation when it comes to winemaking is to produce wines naturally without the use of synthetic chemicals or sulphites. The decision to move to Lisbon to make wine was strongly influenced by the proximity to the ocean and the coastal influence on his wines; persistent cold winds, hot and dry days and the result of fresh wines with low alcohol content and strong minerality. The result is a wide range of pure, authentic, clean and juicy zero-zero wines.
